Secure assessments

Assessments whose results you can trust.

Send each candidate a secure link. Every attempt is timed, watched and sealed from start to finish, so you know the answers are the candidate's own.

How every assessment is protected

How an assessment works

  1. 1

    Create and send

Choose the questions and the time, then send the candidate their link.

  2. 2

    Candidates take it sealed

Each candidate completes it on their own time under the same protections.

  3. 3

    Review the results

Open the report for answers, flags, recording and the integrity score.

Frequently asked questions

How is the integrity score calculated?

Every attempt starts at 100. Each flag takes off a set number of points: leaving fullscreen 15, moving to another screen or app 12, switching tabs 10, pasting 8, and copying or cutting 5. The score never goes below 0, and the report lists every flag behind it.

Can the timer be paused?

No. The countdown starts when the candidate clicks Start and cannot be paused. When time runs out the attempt is submitted automatically, and coding answers are re-run against every test case for the final score.

Which question types can I use?

Coding questions, each checked against visible and hidden test cases, and timed multiple-choice sections for aptitude and technical topics.

How long does a candidate have to take the assessment?

You choose how long the invite link stays open, from 1 to 30 days. The candidate takes it whenever suits them in that window, and the timer only starts when they begin.

Do candidates need to install anything?

No. They open the link in a desktop browser. A device check confirms the camera, microphone and fullscreen support before the attempt starts.

How are assessments charged?

An assessment uses half its scheduled time in credited minutes, taken when you create it, so one balance covers 2 times as much assessment time as interview time. Cancel before the candidate starts and the minutes are returned.

Assessments and live interviews draw on the same credits. An assessment uses half its scheduled time in credited minutes, so one balance covers 2 times as much assessment time as interview time.
